Hua Shu
Chairman
A renewable energy pioneer with over three decades of transformative industry leadership. Prior to founding ATON, Hua Shu served as Vice Chairman of global green technology leader GCL Group while simultaneously directing growth initiatives as General Manager of GCL System Integration.
His governance authority extends through key industry roles as Executive Vice Chairman of the China New Energy Chamber of Commerce and Vice Chairman of the China Chamber of Commerce’s Solar/PV Division, positioning him at the forefront of global energy policy advancement.
Yumin Liu
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
A visionary leader with over 20 years of global executive experience across solar technology, power generation, and energy management. Prior to ATON, Yumin drove Emeren Group’s (NYSE: SOL, formerly ReneSola Power) strategic
repositioning as its Chief Executive Officer since 2019.
His distinguished career includes pivotal leadership roles spanning three continents: as Vice President of EMEA for Canadian Solar; President of Recurrent Energy (Canadian Solar’s U.S. subsidiary and a top-tier American solar developer); and President of GCL Solar Energy, where he managed operations for one of the world’s largest polysilicon and wafer manufacturing enterprises.
Bob Tang
Chief Operations Officer (COO)
Bringing nearly two decades of strategic investment and operational expertise across global energy markets, Bob specializes in developing high-value renewable portfolios and managing critical assets across Europe, North America, and other emerging markets.
His executive leadership includes pivotal roles at Shanghai Electric, GCL Group, Chint Solar, and Canadian Solar Inc., where he spearheaded the successful delivery of large-scale project development and complex, high-value asset transactions on a global scale.
Jake Snow
Vice President, Human Resources
A strategic HR leader with 15+ years of progressive experience, including 12 years specialized in global energy sectors. Jake excels at building high-performance international teams and developing scalable corporate infrastructures across North America, Europe, and Asia.
His expertise encompasses human capital strategy, organizational design, and crosscultural talent development – consistently aligning people operations with corporate growth objectives. Most recently as Vice President, HR at Emeren Group, he led HR transformation through the company’s rebranding and global expansion.
Mac Moore
Strategic Advisor
Mac stands as a highly experienced leader in the renewable energy field, bringing over two-plus decades of expertise spanning solar and energy storage project development, mergers and acquisitions, construction, and asset management. His career includes pivotal roles such as Executive Vice President of North America at Emeren, where he steered the development of utility-scale, community solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) across key U.S. states.
Prior to Emeren, he served as Vice President of Business Development at GCL Solar Energy, guiding a team that delivered over 1 gigawatt of solar projects that are now operational. Earlier in his career, Mac held leadership positions at other top solar energy organizations, including BP Solar, Conergy, and Schott Solar.
