His executive leadership includes pivotal roles at Shanghai Electric, GCL Group, Chint Solar, and Canadian Solar Inc., where he spearheaded the successful delivery of large-scale project development and complex, high-value asset transactions on a global scale.

Claudio Sapienza

Senior Consultant (Project Development)

Italian, currently based in Madrid. Claudio holds an MBA (2010) and a Master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs (2005). He has over 20 years of experience in the agriculture and energy sectors, during which he has held several senior leadership positions. He brings extensive expertise and in-depth knowledge across both industries and is strongly results-oriented. He is recognized for his innovative approach and has a proven track record of building and leading high-performing businesses.

Mac Moore

Strategic Advisor

Mac stands as a highly experienced leader in the renewable energy field, bringing over two-plus decades of expertise spanning solar and energy storage project development, mergers and acquisitions, construction, and asset management. His career includes pivotal roles such as Executive Vice President of North America at Emeren, where he steered the development of utility-scale, community solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) across key U.S. states.

Prior to Emeren, he served as Vice President of Business Development at GCL Solar Energy, guiding a team that delivered over 1 gigawatt of solar projects that are now operational. Earlier in his career, Mac held leadership positions at other top solar energy organizations, including BP Solar, Conergy, and Schott Solar.
